Lewis Hamilton seems like he can do nothing wrong. Staying true to his outstanding run, he qualified at pole position as Mercedes locked out the front of the grid yet again.
On Saturday, at the end of final free practice, Leclerc was heard on the radio claiming he could hear Lewis Hamilton’s line on his radio. This particular incident sparked a string of hilarious tweets from Mercedes, Charles Leclerc, and Lewis Hamilton.
After the qualifying sessions, teams are preparing for the first Portimao circuit race. What’s special about the race other than the fact that it will add to Hamilton’s record-breaking tally of victories is that it is Roscoe, Lewis Hamilton’s British bulldog’s birthday.

On Roscoe’s birthday, Mercedes-AMG F1 tweeted a picture of him sporting the team’s headphones. The caption hilariously read, “Bono’s taking a week off”.
Leclerc found his funny side and replied to the tweet with, “Ahhhhh, it was probably Roscoe that I was hearing on the radio this morning.” Pointing out the radio channel mismatch that allowed him to listen to the Mercedes line for a while.
Lewis Hamilton was not far from the banter and replied to Leclerc. “Naughty Roscoe! I’ll have a word with him,” he replied.
