It has been a while since Haas announced that Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen will not be a part of the 2021 drivers lineup. Social media was divided over the decision and Jan Magnussen’s take on the issue.

One can only imagine the uncertainty surrounding both the drivers’ futures in Formula 1. Romain Grosjean was recently seen offering a very candid description of all things Haas, with the kind of confidence that comes from being free of any and all professional obligations to the team.

During the post-qualifying interview, Romain was asked about the car. Grosjean was asked if he was happy with the car he’s been driving. He laughed and exclaimed, “Naaah!” He further added, “Honest answer. I don’t need to tell you things that I think anymore.”

Romain further conceded that Haas have been struggling with the car. He further explained, “It’s not a good car in those speed corners, there’s a fair bit here.”

Talking about the car’s challenges, he mentioned, “We’re struggling a lot with overheating in the rear suspension of my car.” He further explained that this means the platform keeps moving and the balance of the car changes significantly in every lap.

Also, considering this is a new circuit, things get much more difficult to deal with. Keeping true to his honest nature, Romain predicted, ” I don’t know where we’re going to end up in the race, but it could be quite emotional.”
