When will Pierre Gasly join Red Bull again? A hot topic that seems to have seen no solution yet. With Gasly still making amends for the mistakes he made in 2019 with Red Bull, he wouldn’t want anything more than getting back to that number 1 seat.

Gasly is beyond doubt a very talented driver. He has had experience now and has won a Grand Prix with a midfield dragger team. Quite honestly, he has made the most of his chances and given some amazing performances.

During Red Bull’s search, they also gave Gasly a chance with the team, but things didn’t go as expected. However, Gasly’s current team, Alpha Tauri‘s Boss Franz Tost, recently pointed towards a possible seat renewal for the French driver. He said, “Pierre Gasly has won races, Pierre Gasly is experienced, Pierre Gasly is fast, is a Red Bull pupil. So for me, it’s a very logical, clear train of thought.”

Will Perez’s presence make things difficult for Gasly?

Pierre’s contract with his current team expires soon. As he awaits his chance with Red Bull, he is also cautious of what might happen. Perez’s performances have been closely monitored, and it seems like he’s here to stay. Red Bull, after facing such a difficult time finding a driver for the team, might not wish to let him go.

The Austrian team surely faces a dilemma as they might be stuck with the decision-making. Letting go of someone like Perez can majorly backfire while ignoring the talents of Gasly can be a bad decision as well. However, with a talent like Pierre, he would be picked by anyone. And as reports suggest, he is time bound and might not continue with Red Bull if not given a chance.
