Pierre Gasly will join Alpine in 2023. Yes, the French driver will leave AlphaTauri at the end of this year. Gasly knows how important it is to be a Red Bull team member. The Frenchman will join his compatriot Esteban Ocon in Alpine, replacing the two-time world champion Fernando Alonso, who earlier decided to leave the team to join Aston Martin. Gasly joined Red Bull’s junior team in 2014 and then became a full time driver for Toro Rosso (now AlphaTauri) in 2018.

In fact, the Milton Keynes side gave him the opportunity to race alongside their star driver Max Verstappen in the main Red Bull team, but Pierre Gasly lasted only for 12 races before he was demoted from the team.
