Ever since his debut in 2007, “Hamilton” has become a household name. However, it caught Hamilton’s half-brother, Nicolas, by surprise when he became a question in a popular British quiz show.

Nicolas Hamilton is Lewis Hamilton’s half-brother from the paternal side of his family. Like Lewis Hamilton, Nicolas is also a race driver who competes in the British Touring Car Championship. Much to Nicholas’s surprise, a British quiz show called The Chase gave him a shoutout during a round of questions.

The Chase is one of the UK’s finest game shows, wherein the contestants play against a professional quiz master. The six-time nominated and three-time award-winning show is also UK’s longest-running game show. Contestants can win thousands of British pounds in front of regularly tuning in millions of fans.

Back in 2015, Nicolas Hamilton shared his annoyance at the fact that people assumed all his achievements were because of his brother. Having a hugely successful brother in the motorsport industry helps. However, Nicolas demanded credit where credit is due.

Speaking to the sun, he said, “Lewis and I are close, but when I sit in my car, I want to feel as though I have earned it. There are always people around who throw negative comments. But that just makes me want to keep driving as fast as possible.”
