Max Verstappen had a decent day out driving a Porsche. The 2021 F1 champion is on leave now and testing a few cars in his off time. Verstappen shared images of him and his car on his social media.

The 24-year-old hits the track after a long time. No, not for a shakedown or a pre-season testing event. The Verstappen was driving a Porsche. It has been a long since the defending champion has driven an F1 car on the track.

In the Instagram post shared by Verstappen himself, Verstappen is seen looking at the track with an iPhone in his hand. The Dutchman is seen looking at the track with a smile on his face.

Max Verstappen is having decent time away from the paddock

This is not the first time Max is seen having a good time away from the paddock. Verstappen was also seen driving the RB8 on ice a few weeks back. The Champion was driving the 2012 Red Bull car with a motocross bike following him closely.

The epic alpine run was organized by Red Bull. Max Verstappen was accompanied by speedway star Franky Zorn and rally car driver Raimund Baumschlager. That was a spectacular show where the asphalt got swapped for ice and rubber got swapped for spikes.

The 24-year-old was spotted in Red Bull’s car launch for the 2022 season. Red Bull launched RB18 this year to help Max defend his Driver’s Championship Title and have a go at Mercedes for the Constructor’s title.

Verstappen is to start the 2022 season with number 1 as his car number. Earlier, he used 33 as his number. Since he claimed his maiden title last year, the Dutchman chose to go with 1 as his number from now on.

As the new season dawns, Max fans can no more wait to see their star taking the track. it’ll be interesting to see how Verstappen defends his title. It’ll be the clash of Titans again when he takes on the resilient Lewis Hamilton in a few weeks.
