It is no secret that Red Bull and Mercedes are arch-rivals, with them fighting for the title, things will get intense. At the qualifying session on Saturday at Zandvoort, the Raging Bulls complained to the FIA, that the Silver Arrows had kept their tire blankets for a longer time.
However, Mercedes had previously complained to the FIA about the same. Hence, the team’s advisor Dr. Helmut Marko had a stunning reply after the qualifying session.

Red Bull boss fires back at Mercedes
During the quali session at Zandvoort, Mercedes were warming up Lewis Hamilton’s tires, and Valtteri Bottas’ tires. Red Bull made note of this and complained to the FIA.
Jonathan Wheatley, Sporting Director at Red Bull said, “The two Mercedes, they’re doing what we’ve been warned about previously.”

After the quali session, Marko said to Sky Germany, “People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.”

Verstappen tops the timesheet, while Perez fails to make an impact
The Milton-Keynes-based outfit are pleased with their Dutch driver for achieving pole position for Sunday’s race. However, they are disappointed to see Sergio Perez getting knocked out in the first round.
The team knows they need both Verstappen and Perez to bag maximum points from the Dutch Grand Prix if they intend to grab the lead from Mercedes in the title race.

As of now, a 7-point gap exists between the two title contenders. Red Bull very much knows that the Silver Arrows will throw everything at them to retain the lead. But after claiming victory at Spa last weekend, the Horner-led team believes they can do the same this weekend.
