Teams across the paddock stepped out and decided to pull no breaks and leave no stone unturned. But from what it seems, despite their claims of a strategic move, Ferrari seems to be heading in a direction that hasn’t gelled with the Tifosi. What happened was that Charles Leclerc took his SF-22 straight into the garage when he was just in second place, leaving a feeling of the team conceding to Red Bull in the inaugural race itself!

From the looks of it, it could prove to be a decent strategic move, but the risk is certainly bigger than the reward: a set of new tires. The team potentially sacrificed the first pole of the season, allowing the Red Bulls to lock up the first row on Sunday. And Tifosi isn’t liking it as the flashbacks of the strategic blunders from the past are coming back to haunt them way too early than anticipated.

Seeing what the team made Charles Leclerc do has triggered a round of frustration already, making a lot of the fans lose their hope already despite the main race remaining. Will it be a smart move or the first blunder of many more to come from the Maranello-based outfit? We’ll have to find that out.

Ferrari fans are already down the sadness spiral

Charles Leclerc and Ferrari fans’ hopes for this season have taken the first blow. The decision to ditch the pole and save the tires just added to the misery of Leclerc’s car throwing away pieces at the start of Q1. Tifosi isn’t happy by any bits as they believe their drivers were forced to settle for P3 and P4.

The sadness for the fans has already kicked in. Many of them are already heartbroken. The misery and pain, according to them, are just getting started.
