New races often bring out changes and upgrades for F1 teams. With F1 out on a short break for over two weeks, teams have tried improving their car with little tweaks this time around as well.

After an off-race at Monza, McLaren, being one such team, has made changes to the sidepods of MCL36s which look like a copy of RB18s of Red Bull.

Andreas Haupt of Auto Motor Und Sport, Germany shared on this on Twitter, “Looks like the McLaren has a Red Bull style sidepod inlet. Norris car, Ricciardo car with the old one.”

This had the fans notice the blatant copy of Red Bull and took no time to call McLaren ‘Orange Red Bull’ due to their team color. This comes right after Aston Martin allegedly did the same before the Spanish Grand Prix, hence giving them the name ‘Green Red Bull’.

F1 fans react as McLaren are on their way to improving things

The Woking-based team has implemented their new change on Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo’s car with the hope of turning things around. Even though it might be very late, still fighting for P4 in the constructors’ championship with Alpine is fully worth it, given the sweet dividends could be plenty at the end of the season.

Fans react hilariously to the new McLaren change.

The reactions are so hilarious even a fan stated the change as ‘Orange Bull or Papaya Bull’ or even ‘McLed Bularen’
