Ripke, the German fashion and sports photographer, recently shared a video of him and Wolff taking while walking. As they approach the metallic olive Porsche of Ripke, he asked Wolff if he wants to drive the car. To this, the Austrian boss was quick to respond, “No.”
However, the Mercedes boss further made a promise that, under special circumstances, he would drive the Porsche. Wolff stated, “Only if they join Formula 1.”
This statement from the Mercedes boss has come after Red Bull did not agree to Porsche’s wishes to buy 50% stakes in the company.
However, the German automobile giants are still interested in being involved in Formula 1. Even after things fell apart with the Austrian team, the sources tell, “Porsche are still in discussions with Formula 1 teams.”

Talking about this, the 50-year-old boss shared, “It’s a shame, obviously, from me as a Mercedes person, it’s a shame that we can’t fight with Porsche. Porsche/Red Bull would have been a mega entry. A great brand.”
“And that didn’t work out for reasons that are unknown to me. It would have been really great for F1 and all of us overall if they would have joined forces for the attractiveness of the sport,” further asserted Toto Wolff.
