Some reunions are just meant to be. Just like Daniel Ricciardo ended up back at the Red Bull family. However at the cost of Nyck De Vries. However, Nyck De Vries is now finding himself in a place where he’ll be reunited with Toto Wolff as the F1 outcast makes a surprising statement. What is Nyck De Vries upto?
De Vries didn’t have the best time in F1. After waiting for many years and taking part in lower classes and Formula E, the 28-year-old finally got his shot at a full-time F1 seat. Unfortunately, it was taken away even before the Dutchman could settle down in F1. Helmut Marko did give De Vries a warning but nobody saw a sacking coming this quickly.
Nyck de Vries has set his sights on a Harvard course. The Dutch racer, who saw a short F1 stint, plans to study Negotiation and Leadership at Harvard.

However, De Vries has not taken a break from motor racing as he pushes to pursue other things in life. The Dutchman recently revealed that he’ll be pursuing a course at Harvard which starts in September. It’s a course in Negotiation and Leadership. According to @TheFastestPitstop, Nyck De Vries said “I’ve never studied before in my life, in fact, I didn’t even finish high school. But in September I’m going to take a course at Harvard. Negotiation and Leadership, a little bit of studying.”
Looks like the Dutchman is going to be reunited with his fellow boss at Harvard. Yes, we’re talking about Toto Wolff. The Mercedes CEO has been taking guest lectures at Harvard as he teaches management students. Nyck De Vries was a former Mercedes reserve driver and hence knows Toto Wolff very well. However, Nyck De Vries isn’t the only one pursuing studies after a cut-short F1 career.

Unlike Nyck De Vries, Nicholas Latifi got more than half a season in F1. But very much like the Dutchman, it was cut short as Latifi had to leave the F1 world without his will. Nonetheless, the Canadian decided that he’ll focus on his other interests and is now going to pursue an MBA from the London Business School.
According to his Instagram post, Nicholas Latifi said, “I decided that for the immediate future, I wanted to take some time and pursue a different avenue and focus on another path. With that in mind, and knowing I might be taking a break from racing, I decided that I want to pursue an MBA degree and focus on something that would transform the next phase of my life.”
