Whenever we think of Daniel Ricciardo, the first thought that comes to mind is of his iconic celebration with the champagne called, “The Shoey”. He is no stranger to the taste of champagne, but as he has gotten older he has moved on to the finer things in life.

Ricciardo has embarked on a new journey, this time to make his own brand of wine. The Australian is proud to collaborate with a winery from his homeland and share it with the world.

St. Hugo, an Australian winery, reached out to him to start DR3. He was all on board since the name is inspired by the driver himself, taking his name and his racing number to create a bottle of wine.

Daniel Ricciardo may have something else to drink after a win

The Australian driver is proud to announce a range of wines named after himself in this deal with St. Hugo. Ricciardo hints at the description of the wine with his own characteristics, stating it is sweet, subtle, and ferocious.

However, Ricciardo has suggested that the wine might not be appropriate for his iconic celebration “The Shoey”. He does, however, hilariously pretend to spray the wine as F1 drivers do with champagne. It wouldn’t be complete without a Daniel Ricciardo bit now, would it?

The Honeybadger hopes to the Mclaren to a new level

Ricciardo left Renault after the 2020 season and joined Mclaren, where he replaced Carlos Sainz, who was bound for Ferrari. The Australian will pair up with Lando Norris for the upcoming season.
