Sebastian Vettel disappointed about Yesterday

At qualifying in Singapore, Aston Martin went with the strategy of using slick tires later in Q2, which didn’t bode well for the team.

Since it had rained before the session, there were plenty of wet patches along the circuit and so, a lot of drivers started with the intermediate tires.

Aston then made a quick shift to soft reds for both Vettel and Lance Stroll However, Sebastian claims that the shift to the dry tires took place rather quickly and there should’ve been more of a wait before going through with that decision.

As per F1-Insider, He said, “We were a bit too aggressive and went on dry tires too early.”

“The track wasn’t quite ready for that yet. The gut feeling said inters, but then others are already on dry [tires] and we didn’t want to miss this move, especially since you don’t have much time to make a decision. In retrospect, I should have been stronger and insisted on inters.”
