However, things haven’t gone the Honey Badger’s way this season around. It has been a rude awakening for Daniel, who made the switch to McLaren in 2021 to return to winning ways. Despite his F1 career going downhill, Ricciardo doesn’t look bothered as he continues to entertain the crowd in his vintage style.

The stylish Toto Wolff took a leaf out of George Russell’s book to also get in on the act. Recently, the Mercedes F1 Team Principal was spotted wearing a hoodie from Daniel Ricciardo’s brand.

Sharing the story behind Toto Wolff trying out his $110 Merch, Daniel Ricciardo said, “I gave George a sweater and Toto messaged that he really liked it. So, I was like alright. I’ll give you one too. So, Freebies, freebies.”
It’ll be fair to say that Daniel Ricciardo is the life of the paddock and will dearly be missed. But, despite the inevitable end approaching, the Australian continues to dig deep as he looks to finish this season on a high.

Daniel Ricciardo produced one of his best drives of the season to come back from P11 to finish P7. The cherry on the top was the fact that he was able to finish ahead of both the Alpines, giving McLaren a major push in their bid to finish P4 in the constructors’ championship. Daniel had mixed feelings after the race.

In his post-race interview, Daniel said, “I wish there was an explanation why you know it hasn’t been like this more often. You know races where I can just lean on the car and and kind of put it where I want. But yeah there’s only a few left.”
“Better late than never happy to happy to have had an attacking race,” Ricciardo added.
