The 48-year old Dutchman expresses that Max is highly valued by the Red Bull team. And the Daniel Ricciardo-Renault F1 deal is way less than Max’s current contract. He was talking in an interview with GP Racing Magzine. “Max is very highly rated by Helmut. Max is for sure a top-paid driver.”
There are not many drivers in Formula 1 who receive as many benefits every year as the Red Bull Racing driver. He made the statement on Max’s current deal without disclosing any numbers.

“I tell you Max is very, very well paid – top two, top three, the Ricciardo deal is way less than us.”
