Lewis Hamilton is undeniably the greatest Formula One driver of the hybrid era, having clinched six out of the eight championship trophies post 2013. And this dream run began from the very moment he set his foot into the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team.

Sheer dominance comprising abundant race victories, podiums, pole positions, and fastest laps, the Briton set his own benchmark in the sport. Of course, one might assume his latest title defeat to Max Verstappen could counter the fact that he is currently the best driver on the grid.

Toto Wolff has words of appreciation for Lewis Hamilton

Mercedes unveiled their 2022 F1 challenger, the W13, on Friday and the buzz has been absolutely crazy. Why you might ask? Well, the Silver Arrows are back! And we mean quite literally. During the launch event, Toto Wolff, Mercedes’ team principal, opened up about his gem, Hamilton, and his expertise inside and outside of F1. The Austrian had an idiom to elaborate his words of praise for the seven-time world champion.

Lewis is not a one-trick pony,” he said.

Meaning, Wolff basically reckoned that Hamilton isn’t someone who thrives in Formula One with a mere talent or special feature. Furthermore, the Briton has also spread his wings of fame across other fields including fashion, music, and even Hollywood.

And of course, the former of all is indeed a wake-up call for Red Bull, as Hamilton is already seeking redemption for the awful title defeat last year.
