Lando Norris has made quite the impression in Formula One. In just three seasons in F1, he has three podiums to his name, two of which have come this year. He’s been at the helm of McLaren’s recent rise, which includes a third place finish in the constructor’s standings in 2020.
Coming off a podium in the Monaco Grand Prix, Norris appeared on his Twitch channel to connect with his subscribers. He talked about the battle between Sebastian Vettel and Pierre Gasly, terming it “the only exciting part of the race.”

Despite a lack of on-track overtakes, Monaco served up an exciting race on Sunday. One of the most exciting parts of the race was the battle between Vettel and Gasly.
After pitting in Lap 33, Vettel exited the pits to find himself locked in a tussle for fifth with Gasly. Although the battle lasted only three corners, Vettel took fifth after keeping Gasly behind heading into the Massenet corner.
However, fans across the world witnessed a replay of Lance Stroll during this exciting battle.
While Norris was far ahead of this scrap for fifth, he admits to hearing about this incident. Speaking on his Twitch channel, he expressed his opinion on the coverage during the battle.
He said, “Yeah, I heard about the Stroll thing. When Vettel came out alongside Gasly, I think it was. And then they cut to the replay of Stroll. And I was like, ‘The only overtake. The only action for the whole race?'”
