The Spaniard arguably experienced a disappointing stint with Alpine this year. Even though Alpine finished fourth in the constructors’ championship ahead of McLaren, Alonso’s season was hampered by reliability issues and unlucky instances.
As a result, the 41-year-old has joined Aston Martin, a team that finished 2022 in seventh. In fact, Alonso is extremely excited to drive for the Silverstone-based outfit. How can we be sure? Well, Alonso’s action tells us!
Right after the Abu Dhabi GP, the Spaniard packed up his things and moved to the Aston Martin hospitality zone. The new Aston Martin man wasted no time in moving into his new home.
It seems the veteran driver was in haste to get out of Alpine’s quarters and settle down in his new hospitality zone. Talk about no strings attached.
Given the fact Alonso was the first to retire from the race, the Spaniard must’ve had a lot of time to pack. However, the swift transition is catching the fans by surprise.
