As Formula 1 arrived in the Land of Rising Sun, where the Sun was hardly out on the day of the race. The track was not only very wet but also not in the condition to race. As Jules Bianchi passed away seven years ago due to one such rain-drenched Japanese Grand Prix, his father Philipe Bianchi slammed the FIA.

Philippe Bianchi hit out at the FIA over the safety measures in the Japanese Grand Prix. Despite the rain, the race started but due to horrific conditions, it got red-flagged after Carlos Sainz slid off the track and crashed.
Scary onboard footage also showed that the AlphaTauri driver was driving past a tractor at high speed. Moreover, an advertising hoarding stuck to his car already made it difficult for Gasly to see ahead.
However, it was Pierre Gasly’s incident that infuriated Philipe Bianchi.
In an Instagram post, Jules Bianchi’s father wrote, “No respect for the life of the driver. No respect for Jules’ memory – incredible.”

Lando Norris hit out at the FIA
McLaren driver Lando Norris has shared his views on the Pierre Gasly incident. The Briton reacted surprisingly once he saw the Pierre Gasly footage in the paddock after the race was suspended for the time being due to torrential rain.

Norris took to Twitter to share, “Wtf. How’s this happened!? We lost a life in this situation years ago. We risk our lives, especially in conditions like this. We wanna race. But this… Unacceptable.”
Moreover, Red Bull team boss Christian also reacted to the incident. The Austrian team principal mentioned how Jules Bianchi lost his life in these conditions and wants a full investigation as to how the recovery vehicle was on the track before every car passed.

On the other hand, Gasly was summoned by the FIA over speeding under the red flag. According to reports, the Frenchman was going at the speed of about 250 kilometers per hour under the safety car conditions.
