Former Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg recently spoke to David Coulthard on a variety of subjects. Among them, he opened up on partnering Michael Schumacher at Mercedes. According to him, Schumacher was the king of psychological warfare, and teammates got it the worst.
The 2016 world champion spoke about one instance when Schumacher used to walk around the garage shirtless. The idea was to psych out Rosberg by showing that he is stronger. It was also a trick to impress everyone, since his body was sculpted really well.

Rosberg also alluded to the Monaco Grand Prix where Schumacher hogged the bathroom just minutes ahead of qualifying. Rosberg had nowhere else to go because there was only one restroom in the Mercedes garage. So, Rosberg was busy banging on the door, but Michael was in no rush to finish his business.

Finally, with one minute until qualifying, Schumi let Rosberg in to relieve himself. However, this was enough to work Rosberg up into a state of panic.
Luckily for Rosberg, he was able to get the measure of Michael Schumacher during his tenure alongside the F1 legend. Interestingly, Rosberg had no idea that Michael would be his teammate at Mercedes in 2010. He was under the impression that either Jenson Button or Nick Heidfeld would partner him.

However, he soon got a call where the bombshell dropped, so he couldn’t help but feel intimidated. When Schumacher retired, a new challenge approached, and his name was Lewis Hamilton. Suffice to say, the battle between them was fierce and threatened their relationship as teammates.
Finally, Rosberg claimed his one and only world championship in 2016. Unfortunately, that season took a massive toll on him, and he elected to retire from racing. However, Hamilton is still racing and dominating the sport.
