The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has been in the news for quite some time now. People around the world have come forward to help the Ukrainian people in any manner in which they can. Former F1 world champion Nico Rosberg to has decided to help the Ukrainian people and launch a charity project.

Since retiring from the pinnacle of motorsport at the end of 2016, Rosberg has been successfully running a YouTube channel. This and his world champion status have helped him get in contact and interact with many famous companies. So recently he has decided to set up a charity project where winners will get exclusive prizes.

Nico Rosberg launches a charity project to help Ukrainian people

The former Mercedes driver revealed he is hosting a raffle and fans can buy tickets. They will also get a chance to drive a Tesla for 12 months and get other amazing prizes from him. He mentioned that all the money from the raffle tickets goes to helping the people of Ukraine.

Prizes of the raffle include getting the original Williams helmet of the former world champion in his first season with the team. The winners will also get signed mini-helmet, memorabilia, and pictures from the 2016 world champion.

It is really an amazing initiative from the former world champion to help the people of Ukraine in their time of need. Hopefully, he can generate the desired revenue and donate it to the organizations.

Sebastian Vettel showcases the support for Ukraine

At the beginning of the 2022 season, all the drivers and teams showcase their support by wearing T-shirts with ‘No War’ written on them. Four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel even changed the colors of his helmet to match the colors of Ukraine’s flag.

“It’s a strange feeling to even get out of bed when you start the day with the news, to motivate yourself when you know exactly that there are things that are much more important. Innocent people are already having to die. You can’t imagine the situation,” said Vettel.
