Nicholas Galitzine and Anne Hathaway seem to have some sort of a sports streak going on. It all started with their interview where the duo were spotted watching Arsenal’s match secretly, and it was revealed how Hathaway’s family are massive Gunners fans. And now, Nicholas Galitzine was tasked by Anne Hathaway to deliver a special message to Charles Leclerc. Was he able to deliver the message? What was the message?

Charles Leclerc, in the most incredible way, took the pole position at the Monaco GP, his home race, and is looking to convert it into his first home win. The smile on Monegasque’s face could be seen even with the helmet on, as his eyes sparkled like his puppy Leo’s eyes when he saw Leclerc. After the interview, came the special part when Leclerc would be awarded that pole position award. And with this race weekend being in Monaco, one wouldn’t have expected anyone less than a celebrity to present the award.

And it was exactly that. One of the protagonists of the movie, The Idea of You, Nicholas Galitzine, was tasked with presenting the trophy. However, as he was about to hand over the award, Galitzine was spotted saying something to Charles Leclerc, which was then slowed down and decoded by fanbehaviorf1pod on Instagram. If one closely looks at Galitzine’s lips, it can be seen that he’s conveying a message from Anne Hathaway.

Galitzine and Hathaway were co-stars for the 2024 movie, the Idea of You. Looking at the special message that was conveyed to Charles Leclerc, it seems like Nicholas Galitzine said, “Anne Hathaway is a huge fan of yours. She asked me to tell you that.” However, it isn’t the first time that Anne Hathaway has mentioned F1 as she did it during the Met Gala as well. Hathaway met Daniel Ricciardo on the Met Gala steps and told him that she’s a huge fan of F1.

Regardless, since we know Hathaway is a huge fan of Leclerc, she must be ecstatic about the pole position, as she was when Leandro Teossard scored the goal against Wolves. Let’s look at how Leclerc got the pole.

Charles Leclerc’s perfect weekend at the 2024 Monaco GP so far

The weekend started a bit shaky for Charles Leclerc but he managed to finish the FP1 session in Q1. The pace in the car was visible as the SF24 was compliant compared to the Red Bull. And in FP2, Ferrari finally dropped the sandbags and showed their pace as Leclerc finished on Top, almost two-tenths faster than Hamilton. FP3 was a repeat of FP2 with Leclerc finishing about two tenths ahead of Verstappen in P2.

But the qualifying is where Leclerc turned the hopes of the Monegasques and Tifosi into a reality. Leclerc wasn’t even in the Top 3 during the Q1 and Q2 session but turned up the wick and put it on the provisional pole after the banker ran in Q3. Monegasque then used all his experience around his home track, and improved on his lap time by about 1.5 tenths, whereas the ones behind Leclerc improved, but weren’t able to find as much time as the Ferrari driver.
