Sebastian Vettel announced his retirement from the sport earlier this year, much to the shock of many fans and colleagues. The German driver’s accomplishments are countless. 4 titles, third most race wins (53) in F1 history, etc are just the tip of the iceberg. Additionally, he has also voiced his opinion on multiple social issues like climate change, women in racing, and much more. Of course, it will be hard to see Seb missing from the paddock. Tom Brady announced his retirement from the NFL last season when Tampa Bay Buccaneers were knocked out by the Los Angeles Rams. However, just 40 days later, he rescinded his own decision and decided to come back to the sport he had given his everything to. Nico Rosberg told Sky Sports F1 UK, “In 2023 he will be able to recharge his batteries and in 2024 opportunities could arise for him with very fast cars on paper. Faced with an offer from a competitive team, in my opinion he would falter.” [Translated from Google]

The German-Finnish further compared Vettel’s potential comeback to that of Brady’s. He added, “Even Tom Brady in American Football, for example, announced his retirement only to reconsider just 40 days later. Maybe Sebastian will do the same too .”
