Now, to increase their social media presence, the teams make their usually introverted drivers perform TikTok-like activities. The latest victim, though not an introvert, is Fernando Alonso. However, if we look closely at how the fans have responded, they appear to be the actual victims.

For those who have a life away from social media, the Griddy is a dance move popularized by a high school footballer which went viral in TikTok a few years ago. And taking the popular route, the Spaniard was captured doing the same. Jumping ships from racing to football? Probably not. However, the Matador did make the head turns anyway when he showcased his lighthearted moves during the Bahrain Pre-Season Testing. The ardent Alonso fans who have defended him every time he does something out of the ordinary had a hard time coming to terms with the bizarre moves he broke into.
