His broad smile is infectious, and the Australian never fails to give his fans some wholesome moments. He might have done the same again as the Honey Badger recently shared his happiness with the fans through an Instagram post. Do you know what is making Daniel Ricciardo so happy?

As Buffalo Bills defeated Kansas City Chiefs yesterday, Ricciardo felt relieved as the win avenged last season’s playoff loss for the Bills. The scoreboard looked like 24-20. It really was a tough battle between the teams as the victory was decided at the last minute of the game. The Bills are in the driver’s seat of the AFC at 5-1.

We often see Honey Badger supporting the Buffalo Bills like any other NFL fan, but do you know how Daniel fell in love with the sport in the first place? Or how he started to follow the sport? If not, let’s hear what the Perth-based driver has to say.

In an interview with Ariel Helwani last year, he revealed how he got into the sport. He said, “I guess I am a sports nut, but it was funny I hadn’t really had an NFL team that I followed yet and umm.. it was probably the one sport that I hadn’t really dived deep enough into yet. So I met Josh and then I was like the bills sound cool. I read a little bit about the mafia and I was like the jersey’s cool.”

Yesterday Daniel Ricciardo posted a picture on Instagram wearing Buffalo Bills Jersey. The Australian driver was seen with a few of his friends who support the same team.

The image had the text, “Bills Mafia.”

Seems Josh Allen is the major reason why the Perth-based driver became a huge fan of the sport. With time, both the stars have evolved their relationship into a strong friendship.

On many occasions, the two have been very vocal about their friendship. Speaking to Marty Smith on ESPN, Ricciardo spoke first, claiming, “It’s been like step brothers. Somehow, we just became best friends. Just a flick of a finger. No, it was Monaco, right? Monaco 2019?”

Allen replied, “We’re talking, and he’s like we’re Buffalo Bills fans and they had jerseys, and I thought it was the weirdest thing.”
