In light of recent events, many F1 drivers were in Las Vegas for an F1 promotional event for next year’s race. However, Daniel Ricciardo, aka the Honey Badger, made an appearance elsewhere!
The Aussie made an appearance at his very first Buffalo Bills game at the MetLife Stadium. Daniel Ricciardo is a self proclaimed Buffalo Bills fan. Aside from his love for the sport, Daniel is a passionate fan because of his close bond with the quarterback, Josh Allen. Josh and Ricciardo are rather ‘best friends’ and the Aussie wanted to show up and support his pal during his game.

The Aussie had never seen Josh play live. Thus, when the Aussie made it to the stadium, he made an appearance with an unusual form of support. Ricciardo showed up with a gigantic cut-out of Josh Allen’s face as he cheered for him from the stands.
The gesture was not at all subtle, and Ricciardo didn’t leave any stone unturned to showcase his support and love for his best bud. Meanwhile, the Aussie’s girlfriend, Heidi Berger, was a bit lost, and the fans caught on to that real quick!
Allen appreciated this grand gesture as he greeted the Honey Badger with a big warm hug and a huge smile across his face.
Unfortunately, though, the Buffalo Bills lost the game to the New York Jets and the people of Twitter are upset! Many were in awe of the Australian for showing up for his friend, whilst the others cursed him for having ‘jinxed’ the big game. Also, some could not ignore a spaced out Heidi.

Daniel Ricciardo is a big fan of the States, and as per recent events, also a fan of the NFL team, Buffalo Bills. With Ricciardo taking a back seat in the F1 world in 2023, many speculate that he might try his hand at the NFL, perhaps?
