F1’s favorite boy in America, Daniel Ricciardo, may not be on the grid for now, but his love for the NFL certainly is. The honey badger has been in extreme love with the sport and especially with his “best friend,” Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills quarterback. And the responsibility for filling the void for American things, including the NFL, has been taken up by none other than one of the three rookies of 2023 and an American himself, Logan Sargeant.

The American driver has been given a chance to drive this year by Williams, and damn, he is good at his job. Finishing P12, just two places behind his experienced teammate Alex Albon, he has truly arrived at the biggest motorsport stage in the American way. Hailing from Florida itself, Sergeant is also a Miami Dolphins fan, the staunch rival of Ricciardo’s favorite bills. Even during a recent interview with Local 10’s reporter, Will Manso, the Williams driver expressed his love for the Heat, Dolphins, and Panthers.

However, the first glimpse of the mutual love between the driver and the team has long been witnessed, when he was presented with a Miami Dolphins-liveried F1 car helmet!

But certainly, Sergeant would’ve been confused about Ricciardo’s preferences given that he donned the Dolphins logo on his helmet last year in Miami! “Treason,” if we may call it!

The glory of Monaco is unparalleled. It’s not just the F1 drivers who like to visit the small country, but also other superstars such as NFL legend Tom Brady himself! And a part of one of the crossovers: way before Lewis Hamilton’s meetup, Brady and Ricciardo threw the ball in Monaco!

During the show, Brady stood on a larger one for a promotional event and Ricciardo on a smaller one. And without a doubt, the legendary quarterback made an inch-perfect throw to the F1 star. In return, the punt from Ricciardo, albeit not accurate, was impressive as well.
