188 podium finishes, 103 race wins, and 7 world titles later, it is hard to fathom any driver coming close to Lewis Hamilton for a few years. He is arguably the GOAT of F1. Fans around the world know Hamilton for his driving finesse, charity work as well as standing up for many important social causes. The Mercedes driver has paved the way for other drivers to speak up their minds.

Like many others around the world, one such fan of F1’s GOAT is former NFL player Adewale Ogunleye. Ogunleye is currently the head of UBS Global Wealth Management’s Athletes and Entertainers segment. And recently, he was all praises for F1 legend Lewis Hamilton in his Instagram post.

Ogunleye captioned his post, stating“When it comes to F1 racing there is no one that has done it better than Sir Lewis Hamilton. I actually wanted to bring a real 🐐 with me during our meeting because he is truly the GREATEST OF ALL TIME.”

He further added, His demand that his industry, his partners and our society find ways to open doors for those of us from underserved communities is truly inspiring. Google #Mission44 and you will see why he’s more of a GOAT off the track then he is on it.”

“Best of luck today in Austin, TX and the rest of the season Big Dawg!!!”

Lewis Hamilton had a decent outing in Austin in the qualifying. He was at the provisional pole but was eventually beaten by his rivals. However, he’ll start the race from P3 after Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez took a penalty.

Lewis Hamilton came close to bagging his first pole position of the season after Mercedes deployed upgrades in their W13 car. Even though that didn’t happen, Hamilton will be looking to stay within touching distance of Carlos Sainz and Max Verstappen ahead of him. The Mercedes driver reflected on his qualifying session after finishing sixth-tenths off pole-sitter Sainz.

Hamilton said after the qualifying, “I thought we were closer, if I’m really honest. My laps weren’t great; I really struggled with the car in this session”.

He further mentioned, “I’m praying it’s going to be better tomorrow. I’m really just hopeful that… If we can hold onto the guys [ahead], at least keep them in [viewing] distance, that would be awesome, because then strategy can come into play. But I think they’re too quick.”

Hamilton’s teammate George Russell will start the race behind him. The former Williams driver is above the 7-time champion in the standings. While Hamilton will be focusing on overtaking the ones ahead of him, he’ll be very of the threat from Russell and everyone behind him.
