Despite Mahomes’ Heroics, Rihanna’s Electrifying Super Bowl Show Melts Pierre Gasly’s Queen Kika Gomes to Pour Her Heart Out

The Super Bowl LVII lived up to the expectation as Philadelphia Eagles took on Patrick Mahomes‘ Kansas City Chiefs. The whole game was a hard-fought contest in which the Chiefs won narrowly, with the final score of 35-38. While the game in itself was a thrilling one, Rihanna’s halftime performance was a banger in its own right. Even F1 driver Pierre Gasly‘s girlfriend was so mesmerized by the performance that she couldn’t resist but share a snippet.

After a really long time, Rihanna’s comeback on the stage was a welcome one. She had a number of her hit tracks on the lineup and started out with “B*tch Better Have My Money”. For the finale performance, she sang “Diamonds”, which was the 12th song. Such was the impact of her performance that it left even the likes of Magic Johnson and LeBron James in awe.

NFL’s Instagram admin was on top of their game as well, posting almost every song RiRi performed. But little did we know that the Alpine driver, Gasly’s girlfriend Francisca “Kika” Gomes, was an NFL fan. Or a Rihanna fan, perhaps. Kika shared one of NFL’s videos as well where Rihanna performed “Run This Town”.

While the entire world enjoyed listening to her deliver banger after banger on the stage, former American president Donald Trump was far from impressed.

Donald Trump and the Umbrella famed pop star have never looked eye to eye. The rift between the two widened further when she openly criticized him. She even won a legal battle against him in 2018 that prohibited the Republican from using her songs during his political campaigns. Further, Trump took a shot at her, claiming she had no talent. In the latest, he slammed her for her Super Bowl halftime performance, claiming that it insulted more than half of Americans.

Voicing his opinion through Instagram, he wrote, “EPIC FAIL: Rihanna gave, without a question, the single worst Halftime Show in Super Bowl history – This after insulting far more than half of our Nation, which is already in serious DECLINE, with her foul and insulting language. Also, so much for her “Stylist!”.”

While there were a few fans who did not like the performance either, the former POTUS did not get much support for his statement. Some even mocked him with some creative jokes about his tenure as the President.
