The Australian has been openly supporting the Buffalo Bills for quite some time now. Ricciardo felt a connection to the team because of their fanbase as he became a part of Bill’s Mafia. Ricciardo even shares a relationship with star quarterback Josh Allen, who even promised to do Ricciardo’s iconic celebration, the shoey.

This should be enough to tell you about Ricciardo’s emotional investment in the team. However, Ricciardo took that one step further in his latest Instagram story.

After the Bills win against the Patriots, Ricciardo shared a story congratulating the team and sending his love to Damar Hamlin. In his story, he wrote, “Great game @buffalobills. Love for Damar @d.ham3″. Ricciardo shared his message with a photo of himself wearing the no.3 jersey and holding out three fingers.

Ricciardo shared his love for the player who shares his jersey number after his sudden collapse in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The game was abandoned as Hamlin was rushed to the hospital. However, the Bills safety recovered and took to social media to share his gratitude which was a relief for the fans.

A nice gesture from the Formula 1 star who continues to grow his relationship with the Buffalo Bills, especially with Josh Allen.

We are not sure how the Australian befriended Josh Allen but the two are really close now. Ricciardo even commented on their relationship cementing their bromance.

“It’s been like step brothers. Somehow, we just became best friends. Just a flick of a finger. No, it was Monaco, right? Monaco 2019?” Said Ricciardo in an interview with ESPN sitting beside Allen.
