The physically demanding and draining aspect of Formula 1 requires all drivers to be in top shape. However, one can’t expect the drivers to be in top shape even during the off-season. So as the clock ticks toward the season opener in Bahrain, more drivers are taking active steps to get back in shape. Regimentaed Pierre Gasly stuck to his routine even during his trip to the US. The Frenchman not only stuck to his routine but brought back an interesting challenge from his trip to Miami.
The Alpine man trained in the NFL franchise Miami Dolphins facility to keep up with his fitness journey. There the Frenchman met the Dolphins’ wide receiver Tyreek Hill. For the unaware, wide receivers in Football are the fastest players on the field and in a particular team. According to Gasly’s US dump on Instagram, the American football player made a ridiculous challenge to the F1 pilot.
Gasly posted a fair few photos on his Miami dump post, but one photo caught everyone’s attention. The photo is of Hill’s No. 10 jersey signed by the American. Apart from signing the jersey, Hill wrote a few small notes which communicated the challenge to Gasly.

Outrages bet from Hill’s end. However, we’re sure the American is just joking around but it might be a fair bet if we move away from football to soccer.
Pierre Gasly is a goalscorer in soccer
An F1 car vs an American football wide receiver is a mismatched combination. However, Gasly can definitely challenge the American to a game of soccer, especially being a goal scorer.

The Frenchman is an avid soccer fan and often visits the Parc des Princes to watch his favorite club, PSG, play. Not just watch, Gasly plays soccer from time to time as well. He did that for a UNICEF charity match representing Olympique de Marseille. Gasly was the only F1 driver on the team and even scored the second goal for the team.
Now if we take both these excellent athletes in their particular disciplines and pit them against each other on a soccer field, we might have a fair competition.

However, until this fantasy football happens, we’ll let Tyreek Hill believe in his fast feet till the circus travels to Miami. There Gasly might just take Hill up on his offer.
