Well, unfortunately for F1 fans, we’re right in the middle of the off-season. That means that for the considerable future, there’s no Formula 1 action to grace our screens! That being said, for F1 drivers, this is the time they’ve been pining for, for almost a year since the 2022 F1 season began. This off-season has been all about our beloved heroes blowing off some steam and enjoying their time off from the torrid racing schedule. For Lewis Hamilton, it’s time once again to explore every crevice of New York City.

The 7x F1 World Champion took to his Instagram account to post a picture of himself enjoying a fine New York winter. He captioned it, “White puffer on, might destroy New York City.” And as soon as he posted the picture online, F1 fans stormed his social media handles to react.

It’s not only Instagram that went crazy after Hamilton uploaded a picture of him rocking a classy white puffer jacket. F1 fans on Twitter also couldn’t resist themselves from sharing this with the entire world.

One fan on Instagram commented, “Idk about NYC but you’ve destroyed me.” While another took this opportunity to reach out to the Brit. “Hi Lewis! Went to the Silverstone Museum for my Birthday last week and saw your race suit and car! Was without a doubt one of the greatest experiences of my life!”

But F1 fans were loving Hamilton’s new drip! “Man’s is stealing that jacket from you bruv.” Another fan chimed in, “New York wasn’t ready for you in that fit!”

That being said, there were fans out there who were genuinely concerned for the multiple world champion.

One fan said, “Best of luck keeping that clean.” While another commented, “Or it may destroy your coat if you spill something on it. But what a coat!!”

“I know it’s winter but Sir this is too cold,” joked an admirer.

It’s safe to say, this post went very well with Hamilton fans. “Omg he looks soo good.” “stopping the entire city to appreciate this masterpiece” were few other comments on the post. It would appear that Lewis Hamilton now also has another nickname! “lewis hamilton aka marshmallow man.”
