Lando Norris has overtaken Former F1 and current IndyCar driver, Romain Grosjean on a list of drivers who have accumulated the most points without any wins.
Aston Martin’s Nico Hulkenberg has 521 points without any wins, currently. Following him is McLaren’s Norris, with his 394-point mark.
The talented Norris came close to winning the 2021 Russian Grand Prix last year. But he didn’t make the win. Notably, Norris has come close to the feat as he has got six podiums in the last three seasons. The young driver believes McLaren may have an edge over Alpine, as he claims they have better pace and may have a genuine chance at the Singapore Grand Prix this year.
Post the last race at Monza, he said, “I didn’t think we’d be so strong this weekend, especially in the race we were a lot quicker than Alpine, so a lot of positives.”
“I think we’ve learned a few things over the last few weeks which have helped us move in the right direction. I love Singapore, awesome track, physically tough as well.”

Lando Norris Disappointed in Teammate Daniel Ricciardo
The Australian driver is possibly going off the grid because of his underwhelming performance this season. He is 69 points behind teammate Norris.
Norris hoped for more as he expresses his disappointment with the eight-time GP winner.
He said, “I guess I’m surprised because when Daniel came into the team everyone expected more. I’m sure himself even, he expected more from himself. When you look at it that way, yeah I’m surprised.”

“It’s not me having a dig or anything but when you look at the results… if you want two people to be at the same level then you’re not surprised. It’s hard to know when to call it, I guess, which is what they’ve done.”
He also mentions that he does not feel any sympathy for the Australian.“So I feel like I’ve had to do a job of adapting and so has he, but I don’t feel like for any driver you would have to have sympathy for them because they have not been able to do as good of a job,” he concluded.
