Daniel Ricciardo has never hidden his profound love for his mother from his fans. However, he took it to another level recently during an interview. While in conversation with the media at Russia, he let a reporter leave as he thought it was his mum calling him.
“If it is your mum calling, you should answer it. Never leave mamma hanging,” said the Honeybadger.

The reporter later clarified that it was not a phone call but a delivery person at the door. Therefore, his mamma was still talking to him. The simple words from Ricciardo show how humble and down to earth he is.
The racer from Perth has hailed of humble parents. Both his parents have had a huge impact on his journey and molded him into the racer he is today.
Daniel Ricciardo is one of the most beloved racers on the grid. Since he began racing in 2014, the lad has won several hearts. The Australian Grand Prix usually has Ricciardo’s name echoing from the stands. However, COVID-19 definitely impacted that severely.

Daniel is in P7 at the Driver’s championship. Though he is a long way from winning this season, he is pleased with his performance so far. The racer is yet to win after the restart. However, he is definitely gearing up for a more competitive 2021 and 2022 season.
The racers have been looking forward to the 2022 budget cap in F1. Otherwise; it was simply turning out to be a game of who is more wealthy. The notion of ‘more money is equal to more win’ needs to be done away with if F1 is to survive.
Recently Daniel expressed how F1 is slowly getting boring. After the surprising Monza results, he also stressed that besides Mercedes, all the other teams have a competitive race behind them.

Renault is at P5 in the Constructors’ Championship right at Racing Point’s tail, and the French marquee will be looking to turn up the heat on the Silverstone-based outfit. It has been a tense weekend at the Renault garage this last weekend. They will hope for the best results at Sochi on Sunday.
