A new fanbase has been created for the sport of Formula One after the success of Netflix’s series, Drive to Survive. The fourth season is currently being filmed, and the crew was following Esteban Ocon ahead of his home Grand Prix in France.
In a live session with senior F1 writer Lawrence Barretto, Ocon can be seen with the Netflix crew behind him. This will make fans even more excited ahead of the upcoming race weekend, knowing that another season of DTS will soon hit their screens at home.

Barretto was conducting a live Q&A session with Alpine’s Ocon, who just extended his contract with the team till 2024. The Netflix crew could also be seen with Frenchmen as he prepares to race in front of his fellow countrymen in the upcoming weekend.

Ocon hoping to make a mark at Paul Ricard
The 24-year-old is excited to be racing back in France, his home country after it was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, he hopes to make his country proud by displaying a stellar performance at Le Castellet.
With a new deal signed with the Enstone-based team that sees him till the 2024 season. Ocon believes that he can grow and help the team fight for championships in the coming years.
As of now, his focus is on scoring as many points as possible from the French GP, and hopes to get ahead in the drivers’ standings, where he currently sits in twelfth place with twelve points. Ocon will need the support of his fellow French followers and use that to bring home a good result.
