Every sport has witnessed stars who defied logic and odds to achieve heights of greatness. Fans often have debates in every sporting community about who is the GOAT of their respective sport. Apparently, fans have once again reignited this debate after NBA star LeBron James pulled off a historic feat on Tuesday night. James broke the record for most points scored in all of NBA history. This led to ESPN making a tweet to appreciate the era of sporting greatness we live in. On this fans including Team LH44 have rallied other sporting legends like Lewis Hamilton, Tom Brady, Serena Williams, and the Big 3 of Tennis and put them on the same pedestal.

ESPN FC tweeted a collage of Lionel Messi along with LeBron James and Cristiano Ronaldo. Although, many fans have reacted to this post citing that Ronaldo does not live up to being the GOAT as Lionel Messi does. Several fans then demanded to replace the Portuguese star from this collage.

Many suggested how Lewis Hamilton and NFL star Tom Brady deserve a mention in this debate. Even Brady and Hamilton have achieved several records as LeBron did recently. So it makes sense if they too make this list. Besides them, even Golf legend Tiger Woods‘ name has been suggested by some fans.

Woods has been the most notable golf player globally, and perhaps has a synonymous vibe with golf. Besides Tiger, several fans feel that the 4 big stars of the Tennis world are not getting this recognition alongside other legends. Meanwhile, Serena Williams has been a huge star solely on the women’s court. So, fans feel they need to be in this GOAT debate for sure. Overall, this may not yield a clear winner across sports but many have reacted and put forth their views on who deserves a seat at this legendary table.

In the current era of the sporting world, all these names make sense to be called the best of the best. Now, there are several past legends like Michael Jordan, Ayrton Senna, Pete Sampras, and Pele whose names may put a different twist to this conversation.

Regardless, in the present, fans are suggesting their views about Brady, Hamilton, and Serena and reacting on Twitter.

Certainly, fans from across the sport do not like that their beloved stars are not in this collage. Naturally, it would become a huge collage if all of the suggested names are in this picture. It would be wise to bet that even then fans on social media won’t be happy and suggest more names.

Coming to the Tennis legend quadruplet, it is beyond imagination to match their tally of Grand Slams. Federer has ruled Wimbledon courts for years. Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal dominating the clay courts is perhaps unparalleled. And to top it off we have the all-around consistency and tenacious grind of Novak Djokovic and Serena. These 4 stars shall have a guaranteed place in this GOAT debate.
