Real Madrid’s mega talent, Vinicius Jr. is ready to take on the World Cup with Brazil. The 2021-22 UEFA Champions League winning goal scorer is steadily emerging as the next big thing in the world of soccer. The talented Brazilian, however, feels his heroics off the field are not enough as he aspires to give back to society like Lewis Hamilton and NBA legend LeBron James do.

Education is an area close to Vinicius’ heart. The Madrid star has helped build schools in underdeveloped areas in his home country. Vinicius is also helping to fund research to improve the education system in Brazil. The 22 year old finds inspiration to do more for society from the likes of Formula 1 sensation Lewis Hamilton.

Speaking on his reverence for Lewis Hamilton and LeBron James, Vinicius said, “I think I have to do more for society, I see how Lewis Hamilton & LeBron James do good and I want to do the same, help people in many ways.”

He continued, “Education is important because not everyone can become a player. Many try, but not all succeed.”

“So I try my best to help the people in Brazil to continue improving and evolving as a person. If they focus with the right guidance, we can get more people going to the university, more doctors, more professors… better professors.”

Lewis, who witnessed all these activities first-hand urged people to donate more towards the cause. He said, “For me, it’s been a great day to meet all of these wonderful kids. But I just want everyone to know the money you guys put towards these charities, and especially for this one, these kids are able to enjoy their lives and experience things they never would have without the money. So keep it coming please.”
