F1 will host the Miami Grand Prix for the first time in its history this weekend. The race in Florida has been much anticipated for a while now and the excitement amongst the fans is next level.
The race in Miami might just be the answer Formula One was looking for to cement itself in the US market. Although the sport already has a US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas that happens annually, Miami might cement the sport once and for all.
According to Daily Mail, there is a whole host of celebrities who will attend the inaugural Miami Grand Prix this weekend. Celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment will grace the event and make it even more exciting.

They include LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Pharrell, Dan Marino, David Beckham, James Corden, the Williams sisters, and Wyclef. Now, this is one star-studded lineup for an inaugural event for a non-US-based sport.

Will Ferrari F1 bring any upgrades to Miami GP?
We expect 2022 championship leaders Ferrari to bring some upgrades to their F1-75 this weekend. The team is one of the few to not bring any upgrades to their car thus far in 2022. But Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto mentioned it will not bring any major upgrades to Miami.

“We will not have the main one in Miami, but still we have a few new parts on the car. We’re still working on the porpoising that, as you can see, is quite visible, certainly more than Red Bull. And in there, there is also a performance to try to get. This is the [focus] for Miami. The main upgrades will come soon after,” said Binotto.

The excitement and anticipation for the event are sky high, and it really needs to deliver for the sport. It is a very important race for Formula One, as a successful event will also help in creating excitement for the Las Vegas race next season.
But looking at all the preparations and the lengths the sport has gone to provide a spectacle is noteworthy. Hopefully, the racing action on track also lives up, to the hype and expectation around the whole event.
