As the trio starts to enjoy the F1 22 game, the Australian driver started explaining F1 technicalities to them. He starts with the pit stop. He said, “So they change four wheels in less than three seconds.” After listening to this, Derwin James goes, “That’s crazy!”
James agrees to it saying, “Yeah, that’s great, I’ve seen it.” And then Beverly reacts with, “Damn!”
The duo of Patrick Beverley and Derwin James were not only shocked to learn how F1 works but also loved the F1 hot lap on the F1 2022 game developed by Electronic Sports [EA].
Patrick Beverley, Los Angeles Lakers’ star player, and Derwin James, Los Angeles Chargers’ strong safety certainly enjoyed their time with McLaren F1 driver Ricciardo.

While explaining, Ricciardo starts with, “You’ve ever been in a roller coaster?” He continued, “So you know in a roller coaster when it turns and you feel like you’re kind of getting like pushed out of it, that’s what it’s like in an F1 car because it’s called G-force. So, we’re getting 5Gs, that’s why we got fat necks.”
For an F1 driver, it’s very important to have very strong neck muscles to withstand the immense g-forces during cornering. The drivers take corners at a very high speed, which would be next to impossible for any normal human being.
