LeBron James played his heart out to drive LA Lakers into the West finals. King James scored 30 points, had 9 rebounds, and as many assists that put Golden State Warriors out of the playoffs. Their star campaigner Steph Curry scored 32 points but his failure to convert 10 attempts from 14 three-pointers proved costly. Out there to watch the brilliance of L-Train unfold before their eyes were F1 sensation Lewis Hamilton and Academy Award-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
Lakers will now face off with Nikola Jokic’s Denver Nuggets for the Western Conference finals. On the other side, Miami Heat scored a narrow win of 96-92 over New York Knicks to make their way to the Eastern Conference finals.

Hamilton is currently going through a one-week break after his racing at the Miami GP last weekend. The fixture, just like last year’s inaugural edition last year, turned out to be quite a starry affair. From top athletes to A-list celebrities, everyone descended upon the Miami International Autodrome. The Mercedes star enjoyed quite the backing with the likes of Maria Sharapova rooting for him.
As the 7-time world champion is enjoying a break from F1, it was only fair for him to cheer for his good friend LeBron’s team as they faced the Warriors in the playoffs finals.
Take a look at how fans reacted to his presence, sitting with Leo courtside.

One fan absolutely loved to see their favorite F1 driver and favorite actor come down to watch King James play. However, they felt a part of the reason behind Lewis’ beaming smile was the upcoming race in Imola where Mercedes will field their first set of upgrades. Hopefully, the upgrade package will give Hamilton enough to fight with the Red Bull duo cruising at the top.
Two of the best in their respective crafts 🌟❣️It doesn't get any better than this❣️ Lewis is happy for LeBron and the lakers but his smile is saying Imola next week I'll be during the happy dance, finally upgrades to go racing Again 🏁🏁🏁🙏

While LeBron fans hailed Lewis and Leo’s presence to be a lucky one for their team, Curry’s fans felt they jinxed the Warriors. Can you really counter such arguments from fans?

Two people I wasn't expecting to see together. One's a great actor, the other a great racer. https://t.co/MMVNesV7lo

In the photos, Leo had his mask below his nose which definitely irked some people.

Not only can Leonardo not balance on a piece of wood easily big enough for two, he can’t wear a face mask properly. Incredible he’s lasted this long. https://t.co/F4O1o4c5Di pic.twitter.com/ohmiBw7a3X

Ever since his debut in F1, Hamilton became quite a favorite among celebs. One fan recalled how Alpine driver Pierre Gasly once pointed out how he knew all the popular personalities. Watching live NBA courtside with Leo DiCaprio has to be a testament to it.
