LA Lakers superstar, LeBron James owns a small stake of in Liverpool FC which saw him gather huge stashes of profit. While that was already a crossover that tickled the hearts of football and basketball fans all over, another cross boundary opportunity has sprung up. One more sport that has been caught in the gust of wind to buy stake at the English Football Club. And it is none other than Formula 1.
The Liberty Media, which is the parent company of a $17 Billion empire of Formula 1, has been the most recent to be linked to the Football Club. As reported by the Telegraph, Fenway Sports Group [FSG], Liverpool’s owners, are looking at large media companies to welcome further investment into the club with a potential minority stake. The F1 parent company, which has emerged as a top contender in the race, already has proven and established pedigree. And after King James made profits of over $40 million with a 2% stake that he bought in 2011, the offer appears more lucrative.
Reportedly, Club owner John W. Henry confirmed the club is looking for investment but ruled out a full sale, with the size of the stake FSG being willing to sell in the club not yet made clear.

On the Jay Shetty podcast, Hamilton said, “When I’ve spoken to other athletes, we focus so much on being the best you can be in that one thing that the other things that you also love, like if it’s playing an instrument, or if it’s writing scripts, it all falls, everything falls away.”

Hamilton has other plans for his future away from the sport. He used James’ example to put forth his plans. He said, “You know, you’ve heard people tell LeBron [James] ‘shut up and dribble’ like, there’s a lot of people put you in a box and say this, you can only do one thing.”
“How can you compartmentalize staying in the zone and the focus lane, but also build up some of those other skills and discover other passions?”
