The 24 Hours of Le Mans is well underway now! And Ferrari would be hoping to get their glory days back in this iconic race with their 499P hypercar. And the Tifosi has transferred base from Formula 1 to the World Endurance Championship to support the Scuderia. And Charles Leclerc has come along. The race got off to a flying start after LeBron James waved the tricolor to get the event up and running.

In the lead-up to the event, Ferrari ace Charles Leclerc was in attendance. Naturally, his presence at this historic circuit and race has sparked a lot of interest and speculation about his racing future. Post F1, does the Monegasque fancy taking a shot at Endurance racing?

Charles Leclerc declares love for his Ferrari family

In Formula 1, things haven’t been going quite that well for the 25-year-old. However, at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Scuderia has been going strong for the entire weekend. Leclerc was, hence, quizzed about his intentions of racing for them here.

Leclerc replied, “Yes of course, it would make me happy. I would love to ride here one day.” And obviously, even though times have been tough at F1, he has a distinct love for his Ferrari family. When asked if he was supporting them, he said, “Yes it’s still a family so I hope they will win.”

And the 25-year-old has been soaking in the “Incredible” vibe, too.

While Leclerc is the biggest name for the Tifosi there. He isn’t the only one.

The star-studded 24 Hours of Le Mans

Le Mans is one of the most iconic races in the history of motor racing. Now, with the global attention this sport is getting, it isn’t uncommon to see some A-list athletes and celebrities grace one of the biggest stages in motorsport.

According to SBNation, “Speaking of celebrities, on-site as the official starter today is none other than LeBron James. Or, as his new name might be, LeMans James. Also on-site? Tom Brady.”
