Lewis Hamilton is the jack of all trades. The 7-time champion is not only a brilliant racing driver, but he’s also a music enthusiast, a fashion mogul, and a thrill seeker among other things. The Mercedes driver recently visited the African continent during the summer break of F1, and claimed the trip changed his life for the better.

Not many people would’ve bounced back from the massive heartbreak Lewis suffered in Abu Dhabi last year. As he was chasing his record-breaking 8th world title, his dreams were crushed after Max Verstappen controversially overtook him in the very last lap to win his maiden title. In search of peace and transformation, Hamilton visited the African continent in August.

The Mercedes driver’s trip certainly inspired more people to tour Africa. Recently, American actress Gabrielle Union and her husband, former NBA player Dwyane Wade, made the trip to Namibia to explore Southern Africa. They thanked the 7-time champion for telling them about the beautiful place for their vacation.

The $170m worth former Miami Heat player captioned his Instagram post, “Red Dunes of Namibia ? Top 3 most beautiful places I?ve ever seen and experienced. A truly stunning and magical place. Thanks @lewishamilton for putting us on to this blessing. The spiritual/mental/physical rebirth continues.”

Hamilton commented on the post,?“Ah love this! So happy you went, what a beautiful place. I love Africa??”.
