Some might call it fate, while others may refer to it as a coincidence. But Lewis Hamilton and LeBron James have united once again. Months after Lewis Hamilton supported the basketball legend and the LA Lakers during the NBA playoffs, the duo has united, however for a different reason this time. Adding to the collaboration with the $715 million brand is the 2-time Oscar-winning composer. But who is the composer?

Lewis Hamilton recently announced his collaboration with $715,000,000 luxury brand Rimowa. The brand is known for its iconic and luxurious travel accessories and is owned by the LVMH group. The 7X champion is a part of Rimowa’s new campaign “Never Still 4” which also features Kylian Mbappe and Blackpink member Rosé. Coincidentally, Rimowa is the same brand that LeBron James partnered with a couple of years ago.

Nonetheless, apart from Kylian Mbappe and Rosé, a 2-time Oscar winner and 4-time Grammy winner is also a part of the new campaign, albeit in the background. You’ve probably guessed it but for those who’ve not, it’s the composer Hans Zimmer. The Oscar winner has composed the music for the new campaign including the brand film that features all three of the latest partners. Women’s Wear Daily advises that according to Rimowa, the sound of the campaign is one that “urges you to move around the world and be moved by it.”

Some refer to Hans Zimmer as a living legend as well. However, this isn’t the first time that Hans Zimmer has worked with or on something that has F1 drivers at the core of it. Let’s see what the previous collaboration was all about.

The Ron Howard movie, Rush was released back in 2013. The film’s setting is set in the 1970s and revolves around the rivalry of Niki Lauda and James Hunt. Two very different personalities but with the same aim to become the F1 world champion. Enemies on the track, friends of it. Hans Zimmer opened up about how he produced the score for the movie and how it was based on the two very different characters.

According to huffpost.com, Hans Zimmer said, “You don’t have good guy and you don’t have a bad guy. Give me a Joker any day. You know what I mean? The ambiguity is partly what drives the score. At the same time, there’s a soulfulness that these characters have. James Hunt is man that is surrounded by everybody, but he’s one of the loneliest characters in the world. There is something nice about being able to go and write a fantasy about real people, but what you want to do is also honorable to their spirit”
