NASCAR witnessed some on and off-track drama in Las Vegas, in mid-October involving Bubba Wallace, and Kyle Larson. Wallace spun and later confronted Larson, which earned him a one-race ban. The incident invoked a lot of chatter across social media. This inspired Lewis Hamilton to impart wisdom to the NASCAR driver.

Wallace and Hamilton are similar personalities. Both stand against and speak up about social injustices and are proud advocates of diversity. Wallace and Hamilton are also the only drivers of color in their respective disciplines. This inspired the seven-time world champion to share his wisdom, as the only driver of color in F1 who has gone through it all.

The Mercedes man added, “I think if you let those things get to you, it can hold you back. So I just ask him to hold his head high and don’t give up.”
