Happy, cheerful, and a great entertainer. Ask an F1 fan these 3 words and the first name out of their mouth will be Daniel Ricciardo. The 33-year-old from Perth was one of the most exciting talents when he raced for Red Bull.

Ricciardo still had a year to go in his McLaren contract. But McLaren no longer wanted him. They had to pay a hefty termination penalty, which in their calculations was a better deal than keeping him.
As rumors float around regarding a possible outing in NASCAR, an old video comes to mind.
A Reddit user posted “Question: if Daniel Ricciardo came to NASCAR”; Ricciardo replied, “I am a fan of NASCAR. I love motorsport… It’s something which I’ll definitely like to try one day. As uncertainty continues to loom around Ricciardo’s future, the possibility of him trying out different motorsports will be a topic of discussion among his large fan base.

Lewis Hamilton has been supportive of Ricciardo’s case as he said, “Well, I think he should be racing, personally. I think he’s far too talented, and he’s earned the right to be amongst us racing.”
