The 2022 NASCAR season has been one of the most unpredictable ones, as it saw 19 different drivers take the chequered flag, including Kevin Harvick. As Harvick finished his NASCAR season with Stewart Haas Racing, he is now off duty where he met with F1 great Mika Hakkinen and the kids. This meeting in Italy comes amid the contract uncertainty which sees the 2014 Cup Series champion not committing to his team beyond 2023.

Harvick was with his son, Keelan Harvick, in Italy. Harvick Jr. is a karting champion at this young age already. The little guy is a 2022 USPKS National Mini Champ, 2021 SKUSA Micro Super Nats, USPKS Nat Micro, CKNA Grand Nats 5, IAME Grand Nat & Champ.
There, during his visit to the Circuito Internazionale Napoli, the NASCAR driver met with the two-time world champion Hakkinen. Harvick Jr. raced with the Babyrace Academy in Napoli and his father met with the dignitaries.

Harvick Jr, who wants to see himself race at the pinnacle of motorsport, is an avid follower of F1. An ardent fan of 2022 F1 champion Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing, the son of the NASCAR driver, wants to establish himself as a driver one day.
However, Kevin Harvick feels making a way for his son to F1 is a hard nut to crack. Although not impossible, the chances are very slim. As for Keelan Harvick, he’s doing pretty well in the karting scene, so the father and son duo will have to keep up with their performances for the time being.
