It seems like Max Verstappen’s personality has started to rub off on Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner. In the past, we have heard the reigning world champion swear on the radio at the slightest inconvenience, and it seems Horner has unfortunately picked up that trait.

Christian Horner has been the Dutchman’s Team Principal ever since he joined Red Bull. Therefore, this doesn’t come along as a surprise. The only good news for the Briton is that his wife has one-upped him in that aspect, allowing him to win this strange competition.

Red Bull’s team boss confirmed that his wife has been the major contributor. Teasing his wife, he once told The Standard, “My wife is contributing more to the jar than I am!”

However, he also admitted to facing the same issue. He said, “The problem for me is sometimes I’m not aware the cameras are there, but it’s made me realize I do swear quite a lot.”

Despite all of that, the duo has remained professional in their approach, although it would be a stretch to call them friends.

Red Bull’s Team Principal talking about his relationship with Toto Wolff said, “We’re just two very different people. Our priorities are different. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a respect, but we’re different personalities.”

“I think we probably share that competitive spirit in the same way as Max and Lewis.”
