On the other hand, he’s lucky to have had quite a head-start. Racing is in his blood, after all. He’s seen it, lived it, all the while, right from his childhood. Talking about his childhood, Mick shared a story from when he was two and a half years old and the internet can’t keep calm.

Mick Schumacher was a leash kid?

In a video that is doing rounds on Twitter, Mick Schumacher is seen recalling his earliest driving memory. The incident he recites got responses ranging from “golden retriever vibes” to “delete this”.

He was asked when and where he started driving. Mick answered that by saying he was 2 and a half years old when he started driving, in his home garden, in a cross-kart. Then what he goes on to reveal had fans go emotional.

He said, “my dad always used to have a leash in the back of the kart because he thought I was going too quick and he didn’t want me to crash”.
