The year 2012 was a special year for Sebastien Ogier, the eight-time winner of the World Rally Drivers’ Championship. Although the year marked a time of loss for Ogier, as the fan favorite, Sebastian Vettel crushed him at ROC Nation’s Cup. There was a silver lining to his ordeal, nonetheless.
Sebastian Vettel and Sebastien are said to be friends. And apparently, as per Bild, Ogier is indebted to Vettel for changing his life for the better. Vettel is the sole reason that Ogier got to meet the woman that he went on to marry later, Andrea Kaiser.

It was in the presence of the German that the two lovebirds got to exchange pleasantries. And well, the rest is history. As per the reports, Ogier admitted that seeing Andrea was love at first sight for him. And it was only thanks to Sebastian Vettel that he got the opportunity to ‘socialize’ with his then-to-be wife.

Natalie Pinkham claimed that Sebastian Vettel is a different person in comparison to the year of 2012
The Sky Sports broadcaster, Natalie Pinkham, recently appeared on the official ‘F1 Nation Podcast’ with Damon Hill, a former F1 champion. As the two discussed the F1 season of 2022, Natalie brought up an interesting observation about Sebastian Vettel.
According to Natalie, Sebastian is a very different person now, as compared to who he was, back in the year of 2012. Sebastian Vettel has been the advocate of the environment and has shared his concerns about a dying planet, which is one of the reasons for his farewell from F1.

And she strongly believes that this change came about ever since he dawned the role of being a father.
She said, “I don’t know about you, Damon, but I’ve seen over the last 12 years being in the sport a real change in him.”
She continued, “But I really pin it on him becoming a father. He changed completely when he became a dad, he started to care more about the world around him. The way he interacted with people, he wasn’t quite as ruthless as he had been in the past. It wasn’t all about winning. He was seeing the bigger picture. He’s just a genuinely lovely bloke who wants to make a difference in the world.”
